"Joy and celebration are inappropriate when the world is suffering and judgment is near."

I REFUSE the lie that joy is inappropriate. IT IS WRITTEN: 'The joy of the Lord is my STRENGTH.' I will not let guilt steal my celebration. Jesus went to PARTIES. He made WINE. I will SING in the prison. I will DANCE in the fire. The BARAK blessing includes GLADNESS, and I receive it without apology.
Your Father sees you suppressing laughter because it feels wrong and He's running toward you with the wine of NEW JOY, saying 'Daughter, I didn't save you for mourning—I saved you for DANCING. Your joy doesn't mock others' pain—it LIGHTS THE PATH out of it. Celebrate. I'm throwing a PARTY and you're the guest of honor.'
