"The spiritual abuse I endured proves God allows His leaders to destroy His people."
How it sounds in your head: I was gaslit, manipulated, spiritually controlled. Leaders used Scripture as a weapon. If God allows this in His house, what does that say about Him?
"Thus says the Lord GOD: 'Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will require My flock at their hand; I will cause them to cease feeding the sheep, and the shepherds shall feed themselves no more; for I will deliver My flock from their mouths, that they may no longer be food for them.'"
-- Ezekiel 34:10Source: Trauma from spiritual authority figures weaponizing truth, mixed with enemy's accusation that God sanctions abuse through silence.
The abuse was SPIRITUAL—done in God's name, with Bible verses as ammunition. The perpetrator remains in ministry while he's wounded, which feels like divine endorsement.
Hophni and Phinehas abused their priestly authority, stealing offerings and sleeping with women at the tabernacle entrance—spiritual abuse at the highest level. God's judgment was absolute: both died the same day, and their entire household fell. God didn't overlook abuse done in His name—He obliterated it.
I REFUSE the lie that my Father allows spiritual abuse or endorses leaders who wound His flock. IT IS WRITTEN that He is AGAINST shepherds who harm instead of heal, and He will require an accounting. The abuse I endured reveals the leader's failure, not my Father's character. I am the righteousness of God in Christ—the BARAK blessing of protection is mine by covenant. IT IS WRITTEN that no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against me in judgment I shall condemn. I declare that my Father is delivering me from the mouth of abusive shepherds and seating me at HIS table where I am safe.
Your Father sees every manipulative word, every Scripture twisted into a weapon, every moment you were gaslit in His name—and His RAGE against those shepherds is volcanic. He's running toward you saying 'I will personally deliver you from their mouths—they do NOT represent Me, and their judgment is certain.'
