"The pastor who wounded me is still celebrated while I'm still broken—there's no justice."

How it sounds in your head: He's on stage every week with applause while I can't even enter a church without panic. His ministry thrives while I'm shattered. Where's God in this?

Psalm 73:17-19

"When I thought how to understand this, it was too painful for me—until I went into the sanctuary of God; then I understood their end. Surely You set them in slippery places; You cast them down to destruction. Oh, how they are brought to desolation, as in a moment! They are utterly consumed with terrors."

-- Psalm 73:17-19
Enemy whispers: 'God doesn't see and doesn't care—the wicked win.' BUT IT IS WRITTEN: Psalm 73:17-19 reveals that understanding comes when you see their END—not their middle. Public success doesn't mean divine approval. God sets them in 'SLIPPERY PLACES' and brings them to 'desolation in a MOMENT.' Delay isn't denial. IT IS WRITTEN in Romans 12:19 'Vengeance is Mine, I will repay, says the Lord.' Your healing isn't dependent on their judgment, but their judgment IS coming.
Quick Truth: LIE: Abusers escape while victims suffer. TRUTH: Public success isn't divine approval—God sets the wicked in slippery places and judgment comes suddenly after delay. (Psalm 73:17-19)

Source: Legitimate injustice mixed with enemy's accusation that God doesn't see, doesn't care, or sides with the powerful against the wounded.

Why this feels true:

The contrast is stark—perpetrator flourishes publicly while victim suffers privately. Time has passed without visible consequences. Success seems to prove God's approval of the wrong person.

Esther 7:9-10
Haman

Haman built gallows to hang Mordecai and seemed unstoppable—promoted, powerful, honored by the king. Then in ONE DAY, his plot was exposed, his sons were hanged, and he died on the very gallows he built for another. Reversal came suddenly after long delay.

Speak this out loud

I REFUSE the lie that abusive leaders escape justice or that their success proves God's approval. IT IS WRITTEN that God sees their END and sets them in slippery places where they will be brought to desolation in a MOMENT. I am the righteousness of God in Christ—my healing isn't dependent on their judgment. The BARAK blessing includes 'your enemies will be defeated before you seven ways.' IT IS WRITTEN that vengeance belongs to God and He WILL repay. I declare that delay is not denial, and I release this person to God's perfect justice while receiving HIS perfect healing in my soul.

But God actually:

Your Father sees the abuser's platform and your panic attacks—and He's NOT confused about who's right. He's running toward you saying 'Their stage is slippery and their moment is coming. Let Me heal you FIRST so their fall doesn't become your only source of peace. I'm your justice AND your healer.'
