"The enemy is too strong for me to fight—I'm spiritually outmatched."
How it sounds in your head: When I try to pray or stand against something, it feels like nothing happens. The enemy seems so powerful and I feel so weak. Maybe spiritual warfare is for more advanced Christians, not someone like me who barely gets through the day.
"Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it."
-- Colossians 2:15Source: Enemy magnified his own power while hiding the truth that he's already defeated under your feet.
Your anxiety doesn't leave when you pray. The attacks feel relentless while your faith feels fragile. The enemy's voice is louder than God's, making you believe you're losing a battle you're actually winning.
Gideon led 300 men against an army 'as numerous as locusts'—impossibly outnumbered. They didn't fight; they blew trumpets and shouted, and the enemy turned on themselves, defeating themselves instantly.
I REFUSE the lie that the enemy is stronger than me. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus disarmed principalities and powers, making a public spectacle of them. The enemy I face is already defeated, already stripped of weapons. IT IS WRITTEN that greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world. I am not fighting FOR victory; I am fighting FROM victory. The BARAK blessing that caused terror to fall on surrounding cities protects me—my enemies defeat themselves. I stand in the authority Jesus GAVE me. The battle is already won.
The Father isn't asking you to be strong enough to defeat the enemy. He's reminding you the enemy was defeated 2,000 years ago—you're just learning to live from that reality, not create it.
