"I need someone stronger or more spiritual to fight these battles for me."
How it sounds in your head: I should call the pastor or someone with a prayer ministry to handle this. I'm not strong enough on my own. I need someone more anointed, someone who really knows how to deal with spiritual attacks. Maybe they can pray over me and fix this.
"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might."
-- Ephesians 6:10Source: religion - Institutional Christianity that created dependency on clergy and 'professional' pray-ers, stripping individual believers of understanding their own direct access and authority in Christ.
She's spent a lifetime having others pray for her—pastors, elders, prayer teams. Religious culture positioned spiritual authority in offices and roles rather than in every believer's identity in Christ. In her vulnerable state, dependency on others feels natural.
She was a Gentile woman with zero religious credentials, no connections to Jewish religious leaders, and Jesus initially told her 'no.' But she persisted in faith, and Jesus said her FAITH was great. She went home and found her daughter INSTANTLY delivered from a demon—no pastor, no prayer team, just one woman's faith.
I REFUSE the lie that I need someone else to fight my battles. IT IS WRITTEN that I am to be strong in the LORD and in the POWER OF HIS MIGHT—not in human mediators. The same Holy Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives IN ME. I have DIRECT ACCESS to the Father through Jesus—no middleman required. IT IS WRITTEN that I can come BOLDLY to the throne of grace. I don't need more anointing—I have the ANOINTED ONE living inside me. The Name of Jesus on MY lips has the SAME authority as on any pastor's lips. I walk in the BARAK blessing—defended, protected, and empowered by covenant. I am not a victim waiting for rescue—I am a warrior wielding heaven's authority.
The Father is thrilled to hear your voice directly, not filtered through someone 'more qualified,' saying, 'There's My daughter, finally realizing she doesn't need anyone's permission or empowerment—she's had Mine all along.' He's been waiting for you to access the authority that's been yours since the moment you believed.
