"The enemy has legal rights to attack me because of my past"
How it sounds in your head: I opened doors by what I watched, what I said, what I did. Now Satan has permission to torment me. I invited him in and can't get him out. My past gave him authority.
"And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross."
-- Colossians 2:13-14Religious lie that blood of Jesus has loopholes and doesn't cover all sin completely.
When taught that certain sins 'open doors,' it feels like he gave the enemy permanent access. Past actions feel like legal contracts with darkness.
Manasseh sacrificed his own sons to demons, filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, practiced witchcraft and sorcery, put a carved image in God's temple—called the most evil king ever. He repented in chains and God restored him to the throne. If idol-worshiping child-sacrificer gets instant restoration, you qualify.
I REFUSE the lie that the enemy has legal rights. IT IS WRITTEN that God forgave me all trespasses and wiped out every requirement against me, nailing it to the cross. There is no condemnation to those in Christ. My past has zero legal power. IT IS WRITTEN that the blood of Jesus cleanses me from ALL sin. Every door I opened was slammed shut by His blood. I am not haunted—I am forgiven. Not partially. Completely. The blessing of Abraham covers even the worst of my past because covenant is stronger than failure. The enemy has no claim, no authority, no access. I am blood-bought and hell-proof.
The Father doesn't see a boy with a contaminated past—He sees a son with a cleansed record. You're not trying to undo doors; you're discovering they were already bricked over with blood.
