"I'm defenseless against these spiritual attacks hitting me daily"
How it sounds in your head: I don't know how to fight this. I wasn't taught spiritual warfare. Other people seem to have armor or weapons and I'm just standing here getting hit. I'm unprepared and outmatched.
"Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness."
-- Ephesians 6:13-14Enemy hiding the already-provided armor and finished victory available by covenant position.
He doesn't feel equipped or trained. When churches don't teach spiritual authority, he feels like an unarmed soldier in active combat.
Gideon faced an army of 135,000 with just 300 men holding trumpets and torches—zero traditional weapons. They blew trumpets, broke jars, and the entire enemy army turned on each other in confusion. God's weapons don't look like the world's weapons but they're infinitely more effective.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm defenseless. IT IS WRITTEN to take up the whole armor of God—truth, righteousness, gospel of peace, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, sword of the Spirit. Every piece is provided. IT IS WRITTEN that the weapons of my warfare are mighty through God to pull down strongholds. I am not unarmed—I am equipped with heaven's arsenal. My age doesn't limit my authority. My inexperience doesn't limit God's power. I stand on covenant ground. The blessing of Abraham makes me untouchable by enemy weapons. I am the head and not the tail.
The Father didn't send you into battle naked—He's watching you discover the armor was on you the whole time. You're not trying to get equipped; you're already dressed for war.
