"The doctor said terminal, so God can't heal me now—medical science has the final word."
How it sounds in your head: I've lived a long life. The oncologist showed me the scans and said six months. Maybe this is just my time. I should accept it and not get my hopes up for some miracle that probably won't come. The doctor knows more than I do.
"Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?"
-- Jeremiah 32:27Enemy + world system elevating human knowledge above God's creative power to override any diagnosis.
After 80+ years, she's watched many friends die after terminal diagnoses—medical predictions seemed accurate. Her generation was taught to deeply respect doctors as the ultimate authority on the body.
Isaiah the prophet told King Hezekiah, 'Set your house in order, for you SHALL die; you shall NOT recover.' God's own prophet declared him terminal. Hezekiah wept and prayed, and before Isaiah left the palace courtyard, God sent him BACK with a new word: 'I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you... I will add to your days FIFTEEN YEARS.' God REVERSED His own prophet's death sentence instantly.
I REFUSE the lie that any human diagnosis overrides the Word of the Living God. IT IS WRITTEN that NOTHING is too hard for the Lord—not my age, not my scans, not the doctor's timeline. I am Abraham's seed through Christ, heir according to PROMISE, and the barak blessing that protected Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in impossible situations NOW covers me. IT IS WRITTEN that by His stripes I WAS healed—past tense, finished work at the cross. My body receives that reality NOW. I am not preparing to die—I am ALIVE in Christ, and He adds to my days according to HIS purpose, not medical predictions.
Your Father is NOT nodding in agreement with the diagnosis. He's the same God who added 15 years to Hezekiah AFTER the death sentence, who raised Lazarus after four days dead—He's running toward you with resurrection life, regardless of what any scan shows.
