King Asa 'was diseased in his feet, and his malady was severe; yet in his disease he did not seek the LORD, but the physicians. So Asa died.' The Bible records this as a WARNING—not that seeking doctors is wrong, but that seeking ONLY physicians without seeking God first is fatal. He trusted human expertise exclusively and it killed him.
I REFUSE the lie that human expertise trumps God's authority over my body. IT IS WRITTEN to trust the Lord with ALL my heart, not lean on human understanding—even medical understanding. I honor doctors as observers, but I worship the CREATOR who speaks new realities into existence. The woman with the issue of blood grew WORSE under physicians until she touched Jesus and was INSTANTLY healed. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever—what He did for her, He does for me. I acknowledge Him FIRST, seek His direction FIRST, and receive His Word as final authority. I am under the barak blessing that made Abraham wealthy and protected even when human wisdom said impossible. My body answers to its Creator, not statistics.
Your Father isn't intimidated by medical degrees or consensus opinions. He's the God who made doctors nervous when the woman they'd given up on walked out completely healed. He loves when you trust HIM more than human expertise—that's when miracles happen.
