"Seed faith teaching is just manipulation to get my money"
How it sounds in your head: You've seen the televangelists with their jets and mansions asking for 'seed offerings' and it makes your stomach turn. You've been around long enough to spot a con, and this feels like spiritual manipulation of people's desperation. You want to be wise, not gullible.
"But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully."
-- 2 Corinthians 9:6Enemy using real abuses to create blanket rejection of biblical principle, throwing baby out with bathwater.
There HAVE been abuses - you've watched scandals unfold, seen vulnerable people manipulated. At your age you're less naive, more protective of your resources, and cynical about anyone who mixes money and ministry. Discernment feels like wisdom here.
She sowed generosity by building a room for Elisha with bed, table, chair, and lampstand - sowing HOSPITALITY and HONOR without asking for anything in return. Within a year she conceived the son she'd given up hoping for, after years of barrenness - supernatural multiplication of what seemed impossible, directly connected to her generous sowing.
I REFUSE the lie that biblical sowing and reaping is manipulation just because some have abused it. IT IS WRITTEN that he who sows bountifully reaps bountifully, and God supplies seed to the sower and multiplies the seed sown. Jesus taught in Mark 4:20 that seed sown in good ground produces thirtyfold, sixtyfold, a hundredfold return. IT IS WRITTEN in Proverbs 11:24-25 - there is one who scatters yet increases, and those who water will be watered. The BARAK blessing on my life means my giving is SEED, not loss. I won't let abusers steal biblical truth. My God is a MULTIPLIER.
Your Father isn't a televangelist with a private jet agenda - He's the God who said in Malachi 3:10 to TEST Him on provision, the only thing He invites testing on. He sees your discernment and honors it, but He also wants you to know that your generous seed sown in good soil produces the harvest He's already prepared, regardless of who misused the teaching.
