"Satan is winning because I keep getting blindsided by attacks I didn't see coming."
How it sounds in your head: Just when things are going well, something hits out of nowhere—unexpected bill, sudden conflict, random health issue. I can't predict or prevent these attacks. If I can't see them coming, how can I win? I'm always playing defense, never ahead.
"A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come near you."
-- Psalm 91:7Source: Enemy creating the illusion that you need to anticipate and prevent attacks to be victorious, rather than trusting God's protection regardless of surprise.
The blindsides are real and disruptive—you didn't budget for the car repair, didn't see the relationship conflict brewing, didn't expect the illness. When you believe victory requires staying ahead of every attack, surprises feel like strategic defeats.
Assyrian army surrounded Jerusalem—185,000 soldiers ready to attack at dawn. Hezekiah went to bed not knowing how this would resolve. One angel killed the ENTIRE ARMY overnight while he slept. He woke up to total victory he didn't fight for.
I REFUSE the lie that Satan is winning because I can't see attacks coming. IT IS WRITTEN that a thousand may fall at my side but it shall not come NEAR me—I don't need omniscience because I'm protected by the Omniscient One. God sees what I can't and shields what I don't anticipate. IT IS WRITTEN that He who keeps me neither slumbers nor sleeps—I may be blindsided, but He never is. The attacks that surprise me already passed through Father's hands. The BARAK blessing put the terror of God on Jacob's enemies so they couldn't pursue—covenant protection works even when I'm unaware of the danger.
The Father isn't frustrated by your lack of discernment—He's the wall around you catching arrows you never saw launched. He's already awake, already aware, already positioned the defense before the enemy even thought of the attack.
