"My prayers bounce off the ceiling. The enemy has blocked my access to God because of my failures."
How it sounds in your head: I pray but nothing happens. I must have some unconfessed sin or lack of faith that's given Satan permission to block my prayers. God isn't hearing me anymore because I'm not worthy enough.
"Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need."
-- Hebrews 4:16Religious teaching: Your access to God depends on your worthiness and Satan can block prayers if you're not right with God.
Unanswered prayers pile up—for healing, for peace, for intervention—and the silence feels like rejection or blockage. The enemy whispers it's your fault.
A dying criminal with NOTHING to offer—no good works, no restitution, no cleaned-up life, literally couldn't even get baptized—said one prayer and Jesus said 'TODAY you will be with Me in Paradise.' Instant access, zero prerequisites, total acceptance.
I REFUSE the lie that Satan can block my prayers or my access to the Father. IT IS WRITTEN that I come BOLDLY to the throne of grace—not because I'm worthy but because Jesus IS. My access is based on His blood, not my behavior. The veil was TORN, the way is OPEN, and no demon in hell can close what Jesus opened. IT IS WRITTEN that in Him I have boldness and access with CONFIDENCE. I don't approach timidly hoping God might hear—I come boldly knowing He DELIGHTS to hear His daughter. I declare the BARAK blessing over my prayers—the same covenant access Abraham had, I have BETTER through Jesus' blood. My prayers don't bounce—they land on the heart of a Father who runs toward me.
The Father isn't waiting for you to be worthy enough to hear—He's leaning in to catch every whisper, every groan, every tear-soaked cry. Your access was purchased with blood too precious to be revoked by your worst day or blocked by any enemy.
