"Other women have mountain-moving faith; mine barely moves a mustard seed"
How it sounds in your head: I watch these women at church—they prophesy, they see miracles, they have this CONFIDENCE. Then there's me, struggling to believe God even hears my prayers. I'm in the kindergarten of faith while they're getting PhDs.
"If you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you."
-- Matthew 17:20Comparison culture makes faith a competition instead of recognizing we're all branches on the same vine
She sees other women's social media testimonies, hears their confident declarations, watches them lead prayer. Her internal faith feels shaky and small by comparison. They seem to have something she doesn't.
A blind beggar on the roadside, no credentials, no spiritual maturity, just desperation—cried out 'Jesus, Son of David, have mercy!' Everyone told him to shut up. He yelled LOUDER. Jesus stopped, called him over, and IMMEDIATELY he received his sight. Messy, desperate faith moved Jesus.
I REFUSE the lie that my faith must match someone else's before God responds. IT IS WRITTEN that mustard seed faith—the SMALLEST—moves mountains and makes nothing impossible. I'm not competing with other women's faith. I'm a BRANCH connected to the VINE. IT IS WRITTEN that apart from Him I can do nothing, but IN HIM, fruit is automatic. I don't produce faith—I ABIDE. The barak blessing doesn't measure my faith size. I am Abraham's seed, blessed because of COVENANT not confidence level.
The Father isn't comparing your faith to the woman in the front row who raises her hands higher. He's looking at you—mustard-seed faith, shaky voice, tear-stained prayers—and saying, 'That's ENOUGH. That's all I need. Your faith isn't the power source—I AM.'
