"Real faith would have healed my body by now"

How it sounds in your head: I'm doing everything right—declaring, believing, anointing with oil. Yet I'm still sick, still in pain, still taking these pills. If I really believed, I'd be healed. My symptoms prove my faith is fake.

"By His stripes you WERE healed."

Enemy whispers: If you had real faith, you'd be healed. BUT IT IS WRITTEN: 1 Peter 2:24—'By His stripes you WERE healed.' Past tense. Already done. Not 'will be IF you believe hard enough'—WERE. At the cross, 2,000 years ago, healing was purchased. The man at Bethesda was sick 38 YEARS—Jesus didn't ask about his faith level, didn't give him steps. He said 'Rise' and IMMEDIATELY he was made whole. Your healing isn't stuck behind insufficient faith. It's a GIFT waiting to manifest.

Her body is physical proof that contradicts every sermon on faith. She's watched others testify of instant healing while she's still dealing with chronic conditions. The pain feels like evidence of spiritual deficiency.

THE BIBLICAL PRECEDENT Matthew 8:5-13

Centurion's servant

A Roman soldier's servant was paralyzed and suffering terribly. The centurion didn't even bring the sick person to Jesus—he just asked from a distance. Jesus said 'I haven't found such great faith in Israel' and healed the servant THAT SAME HOUR without even being present.

YOUR CONFESSION Speak this out loud

I REFUSE the lie that my symptoms prove my faith is broken. IT IS WRITTEN that by His stripes I WERE healed—past tense, finished, done. My healing isn't waiting on me to believe harder—it's waiting to manifest what Jesus ALREADY purchased. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus Himself took my infirmities and bore my sicknesses. I am the righteousness of God in Christ, and the barak blessing of Abraham covers my body. Sickness is the CURSE. Jesus became the curse. I receive the BLESSING—health is my covenant right, not my faith achievement.

The Father isn't withholding healing until your faith reaches some magic number. He's looking at you through the blood of Jesus and saying, 'My Son ALREADY paid for your healing. I'm not waiting on your faith—I'm waiting for you to RECEIVE what's already been given.'
