"If I had the faith of [insert spiritual leader], I'd see breakthrough"
How it sounds in your head: I watch pastors, authors, online leaders who seem to have this direct line to God I don't have. Maybe some people just have the faith gene and I don't. I'm spiritually B-team.
"Then Peter opened his mouth and said: 'In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality.'"
-- Acts 10:34Celebrity Christianity that elevates certain people's faith as superior, creating a spiritual class system Jesus died to destroy.
You see their platforms, their testimonies, their 'favor' and assume they have access you don't. Comparison makes your faith feel inferior, like some people are naturally closer to God.
A blind BEGGAR sitting in dirt, no status, no credentials, no platform. People told him to be QUIET. He yelled louder. Jesus stopped for HIM specifically, called him over, and healed him IMMEDIATELY. The blind beggar got the same immediate access as any religious leader.
I REFUSE the lie that some have superior faith access. IT IS WRITTEN that God shows NO partiality - I have the SAME access through the SAME blood as any platform leader. I am seated in heavenly places IN CHRIST, same position as every believer. IT IS WRITTEN that there is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free - no spiritual class system. The BARAK blessing didn't operate stronger for Abraham than Isaac or Jacob - same covenant. Bartimaeus the blind beggar got immediate attention from Jesus while religious leaders got rebuked. My Father doesn't have VIP children. The prodigal got the SAME robe as the 'faithful' older brother never got.
Your Father doesn't have favorites. The thief on the cross got Paradise with ZERO spiritual resume in his final breath. Blind beggars got the same immediate healing as centurions. You have FULL access through the blood, not partial.
