"If I had stronger faith, my prayers would work by now"
How it sounds in your head: I've been praying for years—for my marriage, my finances, my health. Nothing changes. Other women have faith that moves mountains. Mine barely moves a pebble. I must be doing something wrong.
"God has dealt to each one a measure of faith."
-- Romans 12:3Religion teaches faith as a muscle YOU build instead of a gift already received
She's watched younger believers with less 'spiritual maturity' receive instant breakthroughs while her decades of prayer seem ignored. Her body of evidence suggests her faith is defective.
She'd been bleeding 12 years, spent everything on doctors, got worse not better. One touch—not a prayer meeting, not a faith class, not 'stronger' faith—and IMMEDIATELY the fountain of blood dried up. Jesus said 'YOUR faith has made you well'—the faith she thought was too weak.
I REFUSE the lie that my faith is defective or insufficient. IT IS WRITTEN that God has ALREADY dealt me a measure of faith. I don't manufacture breakthrough—I receive what Christ FINISHED. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus is the Author AND Finisher of my faith—He started it, He completes it, and I'm not responsible for the middle. I am Abraham's seed, heir according to PROMISE not performance. The barak blessing protects me even when I doubt. My breakthrough isn't waiting on stronger faith—it's waiting on my eyes to open to what's ALREADY MINE.
The Father isn't measuring your faith with a cosmic yardstick, waiting for it to reach the 'enough' line. He's running toward you right now saying, 'The faith I gave you when you first believed is ALL you need—because it's not about the SIZE of your faith, it's about the SIZE of your God.'
