"One slip and I'm back to zero—I've wasted all my progress."
How it sounds in your head: You had 47 days clean and you blew it. All that progress gone. You're starting over from scratch. The counter resets. Everyone will be disappointed. Might as well binge now since you already failed.
"There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus."

The relapse felt like falling off a cliff—all momentum lost. Recovery apps and accountability partners track days like a video game score that just reset to zero.
Denied Jesus three times after swearing loyalty, cursed and swore he didn't know Him. Jesus didn't make him earn back his position—He cooked him BREAKFAST on the beach and INSTANTLY restored him to 'feed My sheep' leadership.
I REFUSE the lie that one slip erases my identity in Christ. IT IS WRITTEN that there is NOW no condemnation for me. My righteousness is not a streak—it's a GIFT that doesn't reset when I stumble. The Father didn't stop being my Father yesterday; He's cooking me breakfast on the beach TODAY. IT IS WRITTEN that I've been forgiven ALL trespasses—not day by day, but FINISHED at the cross. The BARAK covers my failures just like it covered Jacob's deception. I am not starting over—I never left His hand.
The Father isn't resetting your counter or putting you on probation. He's the dad who RAN to the prodigal who blew EVERYTHING—not after the son proved himself, but while he STILL SMELLED LIKE PIGS. You're already in the robe and ring.
