How it sounds in your head: I see the girls at youth group who did it 'right' - pure, no past, no baggage. When I meet a guy who loves Jesus, how do I explain... this? He'll want someone clean. Someone who didn't mess up so bad. I'm damaged goods and Christian guys want virgins, not recovering addicts.

Enemy whispers: 'No godly man will want you - you're too damaged.' BUT IT IS WRITTEN: Song of Solomon 4:7 - 'You are ALL FAIR, my love, and there is NO SPOT in you.' This is how Christ sees His bride. IT IS WRITTEN in Ephesians 5:27 that He presents you 'to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.' You're not 'damaged goods.' You're SPOTLESS. 2 Corinthians 11:2 says 'I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a CHASTE VIRGIN to Christ.' In HIS eyes, you ARE the pure bride. Any man worthy of you will see you through Christ's blood, not your history.

THE GRACE REVEALED
But God actually:

Father didn't keep Rahab on the sidelines saying 'you can serve but not marry.' He put her in the MESSIANIC LINE - Jesus' family tree. The man God has for you won't see your past. He'll see the Father's masterpiece, wrapped in the robe of righteousness, exactly like the prodigal's dad saw him.
