"I'm biologically wired for addiction - my brain is permanently altered."
How it sounds in your head: Neuroscience articles say addiction rewires your brain. You've heard about dopamine receptors, neural pathways, and chemical imbalances. It feels like your brain is physically broken in ways that no amount of faith can fix - this is biology, not spirituality.
"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh."
-- Ezekiel 36:26Source: Scientific materialism that makes the physical realm supreme and denies the supremacy of spiritual reality over matter.
Brain scans show differences in addicts' brains. The science is convincing and peer-reviewed. It feels more credible than 'just pray about it' solutions. Your cravings feel chemically driven, not just spiritual battles.
Nebuchadnezzar went literally INSANE - ate grass like an animal, grew feathers and claws, lost his mind completely for SEVEN YEARS. When his sanity returned, it was INSTANT and COMPLETE - his understanding returned, his reason came back, his kingdom was restored. No gradual recovery, no brain damage - complete restoration in a moment.
I REFUSE the lie that my brain is permanently broken. IT IS WRITTEN that God gives a NEW HEART and a NEW SPIRIT. The same power that CREATED my brain can HEAL my brain. Nebuchadnezzar's mind was restored INSTANTLY after seven years of insanity. IT IS WRITTEN that I have the MIND OF CHRIST. My neurology does not limit God's power. Spirit is supreme over matter. The BARAK blessing includes health and wholeness in EVERY area - including my brain. I am not a victim of chemistry - I am a son of the Most High, and HIS POWER supersedes biology.
The Father is not intimidated by neuroscience. He MADE neuroscience. He's not working around your brain damage - He's RESTORING your mind completely. What doctors call permanent, He calls temporary. What science calls irreversible, He reverses with a word.
