"My whole day revolves around managing symptoms. This condition runs my life."
How it sounds in your head: Pills in the morning, pills at noon, pills at night. Meal planning around glucose. Appointments dictating my calendar. The disease is the boss now, and I just obey.
"For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist."
-- Colossians 1:16-17Enemy strategy to make disease appear sovereign over daily life and schedule.
Every decision factors in the condition. Medical management requires genuine daily attention. The routine reinforces who's in control, and it doesn't feel like him.
Fire had absolute dominion over everything it touched—until it met men who belonged to the Most High. The fire had NO POWER over their bodies—not a hair singed, not a smell of smoke. What looked sovereign was powerless against covenant.
I REFUSE the lie that disease runs my life. IT IS WRITTEN: in Christ ALL THINGS CONSIST—He holds my body together, not my condition. Jesus is LORD over every cell, every system, every symptom. IT IS WRITTEN: I am blessed coming in and going out—the BARAK declares blessing over my schedule, not disease sovereignty. My day revolves around His presence, not pill schedules. The Lion of Judah roars louder than any diagnosis. I AM the temple of the Holy Spirit—He is the landlord, not sickness.
The Father doesn't see you enslaved to symptoms—He sees you seated with Christ in heavenly places, FAR ABOVE all dominion and power, including this disease. You're not under it; you're over it.
