"My needs and wants are too expensive for my family"
How it sounds in your head: I hear my parents arguing about money. I know we can't afford the things my friends have. I feel guilty every time I ask for something because I know it stresses them out. I should just stop wanting things.
"And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
-- Philippians 4:19Poverty spirit and financial stress creating false responsibility and shame over desires God placed in him.
He's seen stress on parents' faces when bills come or when he asks for something. He's heard conversations about not having enough money, making him feel like his existence is a financial burden.
A widow down to her last meal, about to die with her son, was told to feed the prophet FIRST. It made no sense financially, but she obeyed and her flour and oil never ran out—INSTANT breakthrough from certain starvation to daily abundance.
I REFUSE the lie that my needs are too much or that I'm a financial burden to my family. IT IS WRITTEN that God supplies ALL my needs according to HIS riches, not according to anyone's lack. I am a CARRIER of the Abrahamic blessing through Christ Jesus. IT IS WRITTEN that I am blessed in my storehouses, that I will lend and not borrow, that I am the head and not the tail. The BARAK covenant over my life means provision follows me. I am not a drain on resources—I am a CONDUIT of blessing. My family's finances are about to SHIFT because the favor of God rests on me. Lack is temporary; God's abundance is my inheritance.
The Father sees every need you're afraid to mention and every want you've buried because of guilt. He's not frustrated by your needs—He's already releasing provision. Like the prodigal's father who had the robe and ring ready BEFORE the son came home, your Father has already prepared your provision.
