"My limitation means God has less planned for my life than others."
How it sounds in your head: I see kids talking about what they'll be when they grow up—athletes, soldiers, builders. I can't imagine those futures for myself. Maybe God has big plans for them but smaller, sadder plans for me because of what I can't do.
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."
-- Jeremiah 29:11Enemy stealing future hope by tying destiny to ability, reinforced by a world that celebrates physical achievement.
He's at the age of dreaming about the future, but his limitations seem to eliminate options other kids have. Career days and hero stories feature abilities he doesn't possess, making God's plan feel smaller for him.
Thrown in prison on false charges, seemingly trapped and limited with no future. Within ONE DAY went from prisoner to second-in-command of Egypt, interpreting Pharaoh's dream and saving nations—limitations shattered in hours.
I REFUSE the lie that my limitation reduces God's plan for my life. IT IS WRITTEN that God has plans to give me a future and a hope, and those plans were written BEFORE I was born. My disability doesn't surprise God or limit Him. IT IS WRITTEN that I am His workmanship, created for good works He prepared specifically for ME. I carry the BARAK blessing—blessed in the city and the field, in everything I set my hand to. God doesn't need my ability. He needs my AVAILABILITY. I am who He says I am, and I will do what He says I'll do.
The Father's dreams for you are BIGGER than what you can imagine for yourself, not smaller. Like Joseph went from prison to palace in one day, your breakthrough isn't limited by your body—it's powered by HIS purpose.
