"God made a mistake with my body; I'll never be whole or complete."
How it sounds in your head: If God really loved you, He would have made you like everyone else. Other people get normal bodies and you got this. Every day is a reminder that something went wrong. You pray and nothing changes. Maybe you're just stuck with this forever. Maybe wholeness isn't for you.
"So the LORD said to him, 'Who has made man's mouth? Or who makes the mute, the deaf, the seeing, or the blind? Have not I, the LORD?'"
-- Exodus 4:11Religious teaching that equates physical perfection with God's favor and the world's lie that different equals broken.
She watches others do things effortlessly that exhaust her or are impossible for her. Medical appointments, adaptive equipment, people's stares—constant reminders her body is 'other.' Prayers for healing seem to bounce off the ceiling.
Disciples asked, 'Who sinned—this man or his parents—that he was born blind?' Jesus said, 'Neither! This happened so God's works might be displayed in him.' Jesus spit in dirt, made mud, anointed his eyes—INSTANT sight. His disability was never punishment or mistake but divine setup for glory.
I REFUSE the lie that my body is a mistake or that I'm waiting to be whole! IT IS WRITTEN that the LORD Himself forms every part of me, and He makes no errors. I am not broken—I am COMPLETE in Christ, who is my wholeness. My disability is not punishment; it is the stage for God's glory to be revealed in my life. IT IS WRITTEN that there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus, and I am His masterpiece, created exactly as He intended. I declare the Abrahamic blessing over my body—blessed coming in and going out, blessed in every function and limitation, because I am covenant daughter and He calls me WHOLE.
Your Father isn't waiting for your body to change to fully accept you—He's running toward you RIGHT NOW with the ring and the robe, calling you whole, complete, masterpiece. Every limitation is an opportunity for His strength to be perfected, for His glory to shine through you in ways impossible for 'perfect' bodies.
