"My body is broken and wrong—a mistake that shouldn't have happened."
How it sounds in your head: You look at other people's bodies and they just work. Yours doesn't. Something went wrong in the design phase. Maybe it was genetics, maybe a birth defect, but the result is the same: your body is a manufacturing error.
"For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother's womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well."
-- Psalm 139:13-14Enemy lie that God makes mistakes and that physical perfection is the standard for 'good' creation.
Medical explanations often frame disability as something that 'went wrong,' reinforcing the sense of being a mistake or accident.
Born blind—everyone assumed it was a curse or punishment. Jesus said NO—neither this man nor his parents sinned; this happened so the WORKS OF GOD could be displayed in him. His condition was a setup for glory.
I REFUSE the lie that my body is a mistake. IT IS WRITTEN that I am fearfully and wonderfully made, formed by God Himself in my mother's womb. God does not make errors—He makes masterpieces. My body is not broken by His standard; it's the exact vessel He chose for me to display His glory. IT IS WRITTEN that I am the workmanship of God, created in Christ Jesus. I am not defective; I am DESIGNED with purpose. I am blessed in my body and blessed in my spirit, accepted in the Beloved, walking in divine health according to His promises.
The Father looks at you and sees NO MISTAKE. He knit you together intentionally, and He's not waiting for you to be 'fixed' before He celebrates you—He's already celebrating exactly who you are right now.
