"My healing depends on having enough faith to convince God"
How it sounds in your head: If I just believed harder, prayed longer, had more faith... but I keep doubting and that's probably why I'm not healed yet. My weak faith is blocking God's power.
"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
-- Romans 5:8Religion makes healing a performance—faith becomes the work you do to earn breakthrough
He's seen the 'if you had faith as a mustard seed' verse weaponized to explain why healing hasn't happened. Every moment of doubt feels like he's failing the faith test and disqualifying himself.
He cried out 'I believe; help my unbelief!'—admitting his faith was mixed with doubt in the same breath. Jesus didn't say 'Come back when your faith is stronger'—He IMMEDIATELY cast out the demon and healed the boy despite the father's confessed doubt.
I REFUSE the lie that my healing is earned by perfect faith. IT IS WRITTEN that while I was STILL a sinner Christ died for me—He moves toward weakness, not away from it. Even the father who said 'I believe; help my unbelief' got instant healing for his son. IT IS WRITTEN that it's not about my grip on God but His grip on me—nothing can snatch me from His hand. I'm a branch—I don't produce healing through faith-effort, I RECEIVE it through connection to the Vine. The BARAK blessed Jacob even when he DECEIVED—my healing isn't based on my faith perfection but His covenant faithfulness.
Your Father sees you straining to manufacture enough faith and He's saying 'Stop performing—I'm not grading your belief, I'm healing your body.' He healed people who didn't even ask and healed the centurion's servant from a distance—your healing depends on His nature, not your faith meter.
