"The doctor's diagnosis is the final word on my body and my future."
How it sounds in your head: Dr. Martinez looked at me with such certainty—stage 4, terminal, maybe six months. He's been practicing 30 years. Who am I to question his expertise? The scans don't lie. I need to accept reality and prepare my family.
"Thus says the LORD: 'Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart departs from the LORD.'"
-- Jeremiah 17:5Source: World system that elevates medical authority above Creator authority, reinforced by fear of false hope.
Doctors have charts, scans, statistics—tangible evidence she can see. After 75 years of trusting professionals, it feels foolish to suddenly doubt their expertise now when stakes are highest.
Isaiah the prophet came with God's word: 'Set your house in order, for you shall die and not live.' Death sentence from God's own prophet—far more authoritative than any doctor. Hezekiah wept and prayed, and before Isaiah left the courtyard, God added 15 YEARS to his life—instantly reversing the divine diagnosis.
I REFUSE the lie that any human voice has final authority over the body Jesus purchased with His blood. IT IS WRITTEN that I am cursed if I trust in man and make flesh my strength—therefore I place ZERO ultimate trust in medical opinions. My doctor is a consultant; my God is CREATOR. IT IS WRITTEN in Jeremiah 30:17, 'I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds, says the LORD.' I am Abraham's seed through Christ, and the BARAK blessing that protected liars and deceivers protects ME—sickness has NO covenant right to my body. The report I believe is the report of the LORD: by His stripes I WAS healed. I am ALREADY healed in Christ; I'm just watching my body catch up to my spirit.
The Father isn't waiting for you to 'have enough faith' to override the diagnosis—He already overrode it 2,000 years ago when Jesus bore your diseases at Calvary. He's running toward you RIGHT NOW with the robe of health, not asking you to climb out of the scan results first.
