"My disease is too rare or advanced for even God to heal it."
How it sounds in your head: They said only twenty kids in the whole world have this condition. There's no treatment, no cure, no research funding. When something is this rare, even miracles seem statistically impossible. God probably saves His healing power for common stuff like broken bones. My case is too unique, too complicated.
"And the LORD said to Moses, 'Has the LORD's arm been shortened? Now you shall see whether what I say will happen to you or not.'"
-- Numbers 11:23Enemy magnifying the problem to eclipse God's character, making rarity equal impossibility for the One who invented DNA.
Rarity makes her feel forgotten and outside normal miracle territory. If doctors have never seen healing, her mind assumes God hasn't either, as if He needs prior case studies.
This man had a congenital condition—blind from birth, something no doctor, priest, or prophet had ever healed in Israel's history. Even the disciples thought it was hopeless, asking 'who sinned?' Jesus said this happened 'that the works of God should be revealed.' One mud-spit-command later, the man born blind was seeing, and the religious people lost their minds because the impossible just happened.
I REFUSE the lie that my condition is too rare for God! IT IS WRITTEN that His arm has NOT been shortened and no purpose of His can be withheld. Rare to medicine means COMMON to the Creator who knit me together in my mother's womb. He knows every cell, every gene, every molecule. I am not a statistic or a medical mystery; I am a DAUGHTER covered by the blood of Jesus. The BARAK blessing that rested on Abraham's descendants even when they murdered and lied now rests on ME because I am Abraham's seed through Christ. IT IS WRITTEN that nothing is impossible for God. Rare just means fewer witnesses to His glory when He does the impossible through me.
The Father isn't scratching His head wondering what to do about your unique case. He formed you in the womb knowing every detail, and He's not intimidated by rare. He's the God who named every star and knows every sparrow; your condition isn't a surprise, it's a setup for His glory.
