"My contributions don't matter. Nothing I do makes a difference to anyone."
How it sounds in your head: I could quit the team and they'd replace me in five minutes. My ideas get ignored in group projects. Even my parents don't ask about my day anymore.
"No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary."
-- 1 Corinthians 12:22World system that measures value by performance and visibility, creating early-life insignificance.
He's not the star athlete or class president, so his efforts feel like drops in an ocean. Adults are distracted and peers are self-focused, leaving him feeling like an NPC in everyone else's game.
A nameless boy brought five loaves and two fish—a laughable contribution among thousands of hungry people. Jesus took that 'pointless' lunch and INSTANTLY fed 5,000 men plus women and children with twelve baskets left over—one small gift became a legendary miracle.
I REFUSE the lie that my contributions are worthless or replaceable. IT IS WRITTEN that the members that seem weaker are NECESSARY—not optional, not nice-to-have, but NECESSARY. The body of Christ has a YOU-shaped hole that no one else can fill. I carry the BARAK blessing that made Abraham's presence change entire regions. IT IS WRITTEN that God has prepared good works in advance specifically for ME to walk in. My value isn't determined by who notices—it's determined by who CREATED me. I am necessary, purposeful, and irreplaceable.
The Father isn't waiting for you to do something impressive to value your contribution—He's already written your name on works prepared before you were born. Your five loaves are enough in His hands.
