"Nobody would pick me first for anything. I'm always the last choice."
How it sounds in your head: Whether it's teams in gym class, group projects, or picking friends, I'm never first. I watch other kids get chosen while I stand there hoping someone will eventually pick me. I'm the leftover option, the one nobody really wants but gets stuck with.
"You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain."
-- John 15:16Enemy using peer rejection and social hierarchy to attack identity and prophetic destiny.
He's literally experienced being picked last repeatedly in PE class. He sees popular kids chosen first for everything and feels the sting of being unwanted.
When Samuel came to anoint Israel's next king, Jesse didn't even CALL David from the field—he was forgotten, the last option. But God REJECTED all the impressive older brothers and chose the forgotten shepherd boy INSTANTLY.
I REFUSE the lie that I am anyone's last choice or unwanted option. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus CHOSE ME—I am handpicked by God Himself. Before I chose Him, He chose me FIRST. IT IS WRITTEN that I am God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works. I am not a leftover—I am the FIRST CHOICE of Heaven. The King of the Universe wanted ME and appointed me to bear lasting fruit. The BARAK blessing is upon me—I am CHOSEN, WANTED, and APPOINTED for greatness.
While classmates were deciding whether you were good enough, Jesus already picked you FIRST. You weren't His backup plan when the cool kids weren't available—you were His TARGET, His CHOICE, His desire.
