"No one picks me first for teams or groups. I'm always the leftover nobody wanted."
How it sounds in your head: In gym class, I watch captains pick their friends while I stand there hoping I'm not picked last. Group projects mean waiting to see which group has room for one more. Even at recess, I wait to be invited. I'm never anyone's first choice.
"You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain."
-- John 15:16Enemy using childhood social dynamics to establish rejection identity before she knows she's already chosen by God.
She literally IS getting picked last. Kids pick friends and athletes first, and she's watching it happen repeatedly, creating a pattern that feels like proof.
When Samuel came to anoint the next king, David's own father didn't even bring him in from the field - he was SO overlooked his dad forgot to include him. But God said 'this is the one' and took him from forgotten shepherd to KING because God's choice trumps every human rejection.
I REFUSE the lie that being picked last by people means I'm not chosen. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus CHOSE ME and appointed me to bear fruit - I was handpicked by the King of Heaven before the foundation of the world. I am not the leftover - I am the FIRST CHOICE of God. IT IS WRITTEN that God chose the weak things to shame the strong, which means being overlooked by people is part of God's STRATEGY to position me for promotion. I carry the blessing of Abraham whom God chose out of an idol-worshiping family for no reason except GRACE, and that same blessing makes me CHOSEN right now. I am picked, appointed, and anointed.
The Father is watching kids pick teams and He's whispering 'They don't know what I know. You're about to carry My glory in ways they can't imagine.' Every time you're picked last on earth, you're picked FIRST in Heaven, and Heaven's vote is the only one that changes your destiny.
