"My best years are being wasted on sickness instead of living—I'm missing everything."
How it sounds in your head: These are supposed to be the years of freedom, adventure, becoming who you are. Instead you're in waiting rooms and missing out. Everyone else is collecting memories and you're collecting prescriptions. Life is passing you by.
"So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you."
-- Joel 2:25Spirit of time theft—enemy strategy to make you grieve the present AND the future, creating double loss.
There ARE real missed experiences—games, trips, parties, first everythings. The grief is VALID, which makes the lie feel TRUE.
Lazarus didn't just miss a few years—he DIED and was in the tomb for FOUR DAYS, decomposing. Everyone grieved his wasted life cut short. Jesus showed up and brought him out of the grave—INSTANT resurrection—and Lazarus became the MAIN ATTRACTION that brought people to Jesus. His 'worst moment' became his GREATEST PLATFORM.
I REFUSE the lie that my years are wasted. IT IS WRITTEN that God will RESTORE the years the enemy has eaten—He doesn't just stop the loss, He REPAYS IT. What looks like lost time is actually INVESTMENT in a testimony that will SHAKE PEOPLE. The blessing of Abraham includes MULTIPLICATION—God takes what was stolen and returns it 30, 60, 100 fold. IT IS WRITTEN that all things work together for GOOD to those who love God. I'm not missing out—I'm being SET UP for a comeback story that will make people weep at God's goodness.
The Father isn't watching your years slip away sadly—He's BANKING them for massive return. Every 'lost' moment is compound interest in Heaven's economy. When He restores, He doesn't give back the SAME—He gives back BETTER and MORE.
