"My medical diagnosis is more real than God's promises about healing."
How it sounds in your head: The MRI is right there. The lab results are in black and white. The prognosis is from trained professionals with decades of experience. God's promises feel abstract, ancient, maybe metaphorical. The diagnosis is concrete, current, scientifically verified. Which one do you trust more when they contradict?
"While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal."
-- 2 Corinthians 4:18Source: Naturalistic worldview elevating empirical evidence above spiritual reality, making physical realm supreme authority.
You can TOUCH the symptoms. You can SEE the scans. The medical degree on the wall is real. Faith feels invisible and subjective. When the doctor says 'terminal' and the Bible says 'healed,' the doctor has charts. The evidence feels stacked against faith.
Dead FOUR DAYS—decomposing, medically verified corpse, zero vital signs, every expert would certify death. Jesus said 'Lazarus, come forth!' and the corpse WALKED OUT. The diagnosis was 'dead.' The reality was 'resurrection.' Which was more real? The one backed by Jesus' voice.
I REFUSE to elevate my diagnosis above God's promises. IT IS WRITTEN that things seen are TEMPORARY but things unseen are ETERNAL—my symptoms are temporary, His Word is forever. By His stripes I AM healed is more real than any lab result because it's spoken by the God who cannot lie. The BARAK blessing of Abraham wasn't negated by circumstances—famine came, he was still blessed. IT IS WRITTEN in Hebrews 11:1 that faith is the SUBSTANCE of things hoped for, the EVIDENCE of things not seen. My healing has more substance in the spirit than my sickness has in the natural. I call it DONE.
The Father isn't impressed by your diagnosis—He's the God who creates something from nothing with a word. While you were reading lab results, He was reading the finished work of the cross where healing was ALREADY purchased. He sees you whole because in Him, you already are.
