"If I really had enough faith, I'd already be healed by now."
How it sounds in your head: I've prayed and believed, but nothing changed. Maybe my faith is too small or weak. Maybe I'm doing it wrong. Other people get healed—there must be something defective about MY faith specifically.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast."
-- Ephesians 2:8-9Religious performance lie making healing dependent on perfect faith formula instead of finished work of Jesus.
She's heard sermons about 'faith like a mustard seed' and wonders why hers doesn't move mountains. Sees others healed and assumes they had better faith. Questions what she's doing wrong in her belief.
He'd been sick 38 YEARS with zero evidence of faith—complained he had no one to help him into healing waters. Jesus didn't lecture him about faith or positive attitude; He just said 'Rise, take up your bed and walk' and the man was IMMEDIATELY made well despite his total lack of expectant faith.
I REFUSE the lie that my faith isn't enough for healing. IT IS WRITTEN that salvation and healing come by GRACE through faith—and even that faith is a GIFT, not my performance. Jesus healed the faithless, the dead, the demon-possessed who couldn't even ask. Healing flows from His FINISHED WORK at the cross where He was wounded for my transgressions and by His stripes I WAS HEALED—past tense. The Abraham blessing didn't require perfect faith—it protected liars, deceivers, and doubters because it was COVENANT. IT IS WRITTEN that nothing is impossible with God. My healing depends on His NATURE, not my faith measurement. I rest in HIS finished work, not my spiritual performance.
Father is running toward you while you're still in the pig pen rehearsing your 'I don't have enough faith' speech—He interrupts you with the ROBE and RING before you finish, because your position as DAUGHTER was never about your faith level but His COVENANT LOVE that can't be earned or lost.
