"My body has betrayed me and I can't trust it anymore."
How it sounds in your head: You used to run, play, feel strong. Now your own body feels like the enemy. Every symptom is a reminder that you can't count on yourself anymore, that you're trapped in something that turned against you.
"Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."
-- 1 Corinthians 6:19-20Enemy division tactic—turning you against your own body to create internal war and self-hatred.
Pain, fatigue, and limitations come from inside you, so it feels like your body is the problem, not the disease attacking it.
His body was crippled in both feet from age five—couldn't walk, completely dependent, felt like his body had failed him. King David restored him to the table PERMANENTLY, gave him all of Saul's land, and he ate at the king's table like a SON—broken feet and all, INSTANT restoration of identity and provision.
I REFUSE the lie that my body is my enemy. IT IS WRITTEN that my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit—BOUGHT with the blood of Jesus. My body belongs to God, not to disease. I am not at war with myself—I am a SON living in a Holy Spirit temple. The Abraham blessing covers my physical body—blessed coming in, blessed going out, blessed in health. IT IS WRITTEN that the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead lives IN ME and gives LIFE to my mortal body. This body is resurrection territory.
The Father doesn't look at your body and see betrayal—He sees His temple, His dwelling place, His purchased property that He's defending with resurrection power. He never gave up on your body; He moved IN.
