"I'm the girl who can't—can't work full-time, can't have kids, can't live normally."
How it sounds in your head: Other girls my age are thriving. I'm the one with limitations. I'm 'can't girl.' Every plan comes with an asterisk: 'if my body cooperates.' I'm defined by what I CAN'T do.
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
-- Philippians 4:13Enemy inversion of identity—defining her by LACK instead of covenant abundance, making disability louder than destiny.
She's had to decline invitations, quit jobs, cancel plans repeatedly. Friends stopped inviting her. Every goal has been adjusted downward. The 'can'ts' are documented and recurring.
Facing MOUNTAIN of opposition, seemed impossible. Word of the Lord: 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit...Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain!' (v.6-7). Impossible became PLAIN by SPIRIT.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm the girl who can't. IT IS WRITTEN that I can do ALL THINGS through Christ who strengthens me. My capability doesn't come from my body's cooperation—it comes from HIS SPIRIT in me. Mountains of limitation become PLAINS before me because of the Greater One in me. IT IS WRITTEN in 1 John 4:4—'Greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world.' The BARAK blessing makes me the LENDER not the borrower—I have ABUNDANCE to give, not just limitations to manage. I am the head, not the tail. I CAN because HE IS.
The Father isn't keeping a list of what you can't do—He's been resourcing what He's calling you TO. While you're focused on limitations, He's already dispatched the strength for the assignment. The prodigal couldn't even finish his 'make me a servant' speech—the Father was TOO BUSY restoring him to sonship.
