"My illness is permanent. I need to prepare for lifelong limitations, not hope for healing."
How it sounds in your head: The doctors used words like 'chronic,' 'incurable,' 'progressive,' 'degenerative.' They told you to adjust, plan for disability, accept the trajectory. Hoping for healing feels naive and sets you up for crushing disappointment.
"Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?"
-- Jeremiah 32:27World's medical verdict posed as final authority—making diagnosis a life sentence and hope a foolish risk.
Medical science IS advanced. The prognosis IS based on evidence and statistics. Ignoring medical reality feels irresponsible, especially when you have people depending on you. Hope has disappointed you before, and protecting yourself from that pain again feels wise.
He had leprosy—INCURABLE, progressive, fatal. The world's verdict: permanent separation and slow death. But he dipped seven times in the Jordan and came up with skin like a CHILD'S—complete cellular regeneration of 'incurable' disease in minutes. God mocked the medical verdict with total restoration.
I REFUSE to bow to a medical verdict that contradicts the Word of God. IT IS WRITTEN: Is anything too hard for the Lord? The answer is NO. 'Incurable' is a lie when the Great Physician speaks. IT IS WRITTEN that with God NOTHING is impossible—and that includes my diagnosis. I don't hope in statistics; I hope in the God who created every cell in my body and can recreate what's broken. The same power that raised Jesus from the DEAD lives in me. IT IS WRITTEN that by His stripes I WAS healed—past tense, finished. The BARAK blessing over my life breaks every curse, including the curse of 'permanent.' I am coming out of this.
The Father isn't bound by medical textbooks or statistics. He's the One who gave Naaman child-like skin in minutes, who reversed thirty-eight years of paralysis with one word, who pulled Lazarus out of four-day-old death. 'Incurable' is a challenge to His glory, and He LOVES proving doctors wrong while leaving them in awe.
