"I have to introduce myself by my diagnosis so people understand my limitations."
How it sounds in your head: You preface everything now: 'I can't because of my condition.' You warn new friends before they get too close. You wear the diagnosis like a name tag so no one expects too much from you.
"Let the weak say, 'I am strong.'"
-- Joel 3:10World system teaching you to identify with weakness and broadcast limitations—directly opposite of how God introduces His children.
It protects you from disappointment and judgment. If you tell them upfront, they won't expect what you can't deliver. It feels honest and responsible to manage their expectations before you let them down.
He was hiding in a winepress, the weakest member of the weakest clan, calling himself a coward. But the angel called him 'mighty man of VALOR'—God introduced him by his destiny, not his current state. Gideon defeated an army he had no business facing because he accepted God's introduction.
I REFUSE to introduce myself by my diagnosis. I am not 'the one with the condition'—I am a mighty woman of VALOR, strong in the Lord and in the power of HIS might. IT IS WRITTEN: let the weak say 'I am strong,' so I declare strength while the symptoms still scream. My limitations do not define me; Christ IN me defines me. IT IS WRITTEN that I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me—not some things, not most things, but ALL things. I walk in the BARAK blessing that made Abraham leave Egypt RICHER after lying to Pharaoh. I'm not advertising weakness; I'm declaring the strength of my God.
The Father doesn't introduce you by your diagnosis. He calls you BELOVED, STRONG, MORE THAN CONQUEROR. When heaven announces your arrival, they don't list your medical history—they shout your identity as His daughter, joint-heir with Jesus, carriers of resurrection power.
