"I need to accept this as my 'new normal' and stop hoping for healing."

How it sounds in your head: Doctors say it's chronic, incurable. I've prayed and nothing changed. Maybe faith is accepting reality instead of denying it. I need to be practical, adjust my expectations, and stop setting myself up for disappointment. Hope feels dangerous now.

Jeremiah 32:27

"Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?"

-- Jeremiah 32:27
Enemy whispers: 'Accept this as permanent—stop hoping for healing.' BUT IT IS WRITTEN: Jeremiah 32:27—'I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there ANYTHING too hard for Me?' The answer is NO. Doctors give prognoses based on human ability; GOD operates outside natural law. Medical 'incurable' is not God's 'impossible.' Jesus said if you believe, ALL things are possible. Your condition is not too hard for Him. Don't let unbelief disguise itself as wisdom.
Quick Truth: LIE: Accept this as permanent. TRUTH: Nothing is too hard for God—Jer 32:27. Naaman's 'incurable' leprosy was healed instantly. God isn't done with you.

Medical/worldly wisdom exalted above God's Word—making prognosis the final authority instead of Scripture.

Why this feels true:

Medical professionals with years of training have given a prognosis. Statistics back up the 'chronic' label. He's prayed repeatedly without seeing change. Religious voices say 'God's ways are mysterious' and 'sometimes He says no.' Surrendering hope feels like wisdom, even spirituality. The pain of disappointed hope makes resignation seem safer.

2 Kings 5:1-14
Naaman the leper

Leprosy was medically incurable—a death sentence. Naaman was told to dip in the Jordan seven times, which sounded ridiculous. He almost rejected it because it didn't match his expectations. After the seventh dip, his flesh was RESTORED like a child's—complete, instant healing of the 'incurable.' What doctors call permanent, God calls TEMPORARY.

Speak this out loud

I REFUSE the lie that I must accept sickness as my new normal. IT IS WRITTEN that NOTHING is too hard for God—no diagnosis, no prognosis, no medical label. What man calls incurable, God calls an OPPORTUNITY for His glory. I will not let unbelief disguise itself as wisdom or acceptance. IT IS WRITTEN that by His stripes I WAS healed—finished work, past tense. I stand on that TRUTH, not on statistics. Hope is not denial—hope is FAITH in a God who raises the dead. The BARAK blessing includes divine HEALTH and VICTORY over enemies, including the enemy of sickness. I am blessed, I am healed, and I will NOT settle for less than what Jesus purchased.

But God actually:

The Father hasn't given up on your healing—He's not asking you to 'accept' what Jesus already DESTROYED on the cross. His grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect. He's whispering, 'Do you want to be made WELL?' and His answer is always YES.
