"My arthritis pain is just who I am now at this age—old and broken down."
How it sounds in your head: Can't remember what painless movement felt like. This is just what happens when you get old—body falls apart, and you accept it. Can't fight what's inevitable.
"So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust."
-- Joel 2:25World's curse of aging as inevitable decline contradicts Kingdom reality where Moses' eyes weren't dim at 120.
Every peer has similar complaints, making it seem like universal truth of aging. Doctors treat it as normal and expected, not as something reversible.
At 85 years old, Caleb declared 'I am as strong this day as on the day Moses sent me; just as my strength was then, so now is my strength for war.' No arthritis, no decline—he demanded the MOUNTAIN with giants on it and took it the same year.
I REFUSE the lie that arthritis is 'just who I am now' because of age. IT IS WRITTEN that God RESTORES the years the locust has eaten—pain and deterioration are the locust, and my God specializes in restoration, not management. I am covered by the BARAK blessing that promises 'blessed coming in and going out'—that includes mobility, not just spiritual concepts. Caleb was stronger at 85 than at 45; Moses' eyes weren't dim at 120; Abraham fathered a nation at 100. Age is NOT a disqualifier for breakthrough. IT IS WRITTEN that by His stripes I WAS healed—past tense, finished work, and my age doesn't expire what the blood purchased. This pain is temporary; my healing is eternal covenant reality.
The Father doesn't see you as 'old and worn out'—He sees you the way He saw Caleb, full of strength and ready for mountains. The prodigal's age didn't matter; the Father ran regardless. Your age doesn't slow God's eagerness to restore you; if anything, it makes the testimony GREATER.
