"I've prayed for healing so many times. God must be saying no to me specifically."
How it sounds in your head: Other people get healed at church. I've been prayed over, anointed, believed, and nothing. At some point, unanswered prayer becomes God's answer: not for you.
"When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: 'He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.'"
-- Matthew 8:16-17Religious framework that interprets delay as denial and makes God's response contingent on mysterious selective favor rather than covenant promise.
You've watched healing testimonies while your own body remains broken. The contrast between others' breakthroughs and your ongoing pain feels like personal rejection from God Himself, as if He's picking favorites and you're not one.
Blind beggar crying out for mercy while the crowd told him to shut up. He cried out MORE. Jesus didn't say 'I already answered—it's no.' He stopped, called him, and said 'Your faith has made you well.' IMMEDIATELY he received his sight—persistence met with instant breakthrough, not divine rejection.
I REFUSE the lie that repeated prayer means divine rejection. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus healed ALL who came to Him, not selectively based on mystery criteria. He TOOK my infirmities—past tense, finished work. IT IS WRITTEN in Matthew 8:17 that my sickness was BORNE by Him. The BARAK blessing wasn't rationed based on Abraham's prayer count—it was COVENANT. I am in Christ, Abraham's seed, heir to blessing. Unanswered doesn't mean refused. I stand on purchased promises, not perceived silence. Healing is MINE.
The Father hasn't been saying no—He said YES at the cross and hasn't changed His mind. He's running toward you with the healing He already provided, waiting not for better prayers but for you to receive what's already yours.
