"Pain is just part of getting older. My body's breaking down and that's life."
How it sounds in your head: I'm not 22 anymore. Guys my age start having back issues, joint problems, chronic stuff. This is just what happens when you're approaching 30. Better get used to it.
"But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you."
-- Romans 8:11Worldly naturalism that accepts bodily decay as inevitable and denies resurrection life flowing through mortal bodies now.
Every older guy you know has something—bad knee, chronic back pain, whatever. Culture treats aging bodies as depreciating assets. At 28, you're already noticing you don't bounce back like you used to, making pain feel like biological destiny.
85 years old, declaring 'I am as strong THIS DAY as I was when Moses sent me out—my strength for war and for going out and coming in is the SAME.' Then he immediately conquered mountains and defeated giants. Age didn't determine capacity; covenant did.
I REFUSE the lie that age equals decay. IT IS WRITTEN that the Spirit who raised Jesus gives LIFE to my mortal body NOW—present tense, current application. I am not a depreciating asset. IT IS WRITTEN in Romans 8:11 that resurrection POWER lives in me. The BARAK blessing kept Caleb giant-killing at 85—same strength at the end as the beginning. I'm in better covenant through Christ's blood. My body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, not a deteriorating rental. Pain, you have no age-based authority here. Life, FLOW.
The Father isn't shrugging at your pain saying 'well, you're almost 30'—He's running toward you with the same resurrection power that exploded Jesus from the tomb, ready to flood your mortal body with LIFE right now.
