"I've been indoctrinated, and I can't tell what's real anymore."
How it sounds in your head: How much of what I believe is actually true versus what I was conditioned to accept? I don't trust my own thoughts because I don't know where programming ends and revelation begins.
"But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him."
-- 1 John 2:27Religious system that replaced relationship with indoctrination, making her doubt her ability to hear God directly.
She's discovered that many 'core beliefs' were man-made traditions, not biblical truth. Now she questions everything, including her ability to discern what's real.
The Bereans heard Paul preach and immediately 'searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.' They were commended as 'noble' for fact-checking even the APOSTLE—questioning authority was praised, not condemned.
I REFUSE the lie that indoctrination has destroyed my ability to know truth. IT IS WRITTEN that the anointing abides in me and teaches me all things—I have the Holy Spirit as my internal fact-checker. No system can override the voice of God within me. IT IS WRITTEN that the Bereans were noble for fact-checking even Paul's teaching. My questioning is not rebellion; it's the anointing leading me to truth. I am blessed with the BARAK that rested on Abraham even when he believed lies about God. The blessing isn't based on perfect theology but on covenant. I declare that the Spirit in me is greater than the programming around me.
The Father is celebrating that you're finally asking HIM instead of trusting human systems. He's been waiting to teach you directly, and He's not frustrated by your questions—He's delighted you're finally bringing them to Him.
