"It's wrong to want abundance when I'm about to die anyway."
How it sounds in your head: Why would I need more when I won't be here much longer? It feels greedy to want financial increase or better circumstances at the very end. I should be focused on eternity, not earthly comfort.
"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."
-- 3 John 1:2Source: Religious false dichotomy that spiritual focus and earthly provision are mutually exclusive.
With death approaching, wanting earthly comfort feels worldly and unspiritual. She's been taught that desiring provision means she's not heavenly-minded enough.
At the very end of his life, Scripture says 'the Lord had BLESSED Abraham IN ALL THINGS.' Not 'used to bless' or 'blessed when he was younger'—blessed him IN ALL THINGS right up to his death.
I REFUSE the lie that proximity to death cancels my covenant. IT IS WRITTEN that God's desire is for me to PROSPER in ALL THINGS and be in HEALTH—not until I'm old, but IN ALL THINGS, including my final days. Abraham was blessed IN ALL THINGS at the END of his life. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus came to give ABUNDANT LIFE—not abundant life with an age cut-off. I am Abraham's seed, and the BARAK blessing covers my exit as powerfully as it covered my entrance. I receive FULL provision for EVERY remaining day.
Your Father isn't withdrawing His blessings because Heaven is close. He's INCREASING them—making your final chapter the most comfortable, most provided-for, most abundant yet. You're not graduating FROM His goodness; you're graduating INTO fullness, and He's blessing the transition.
