"I'm under constant spiritual attack because I'm not spiritually strong enough to resist the enemy anymore."
How it sounds in your head: Every bad day, every pain, every fear feels like a demonic attack. Other people seem to have peace but I'm constantly bombarded. I must be doing something wrong spiritually or I'm just too weak in my old age to stand against the enemy.
"No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me, says the Lord."
-- Isaiah 54:17Religious teaching: You must maintain spiritual disciplines and strength to keep the enemy at bay—your protection depends on your performance.
The struggles are relentless—pain, fear, loneliness, confusion. It feels like spiritual warfare that never stops and you're exhausted from fighting.
Enemy army surrounded the city to capture Elisha—looked like imminent defeat and capture. Elisha prayed for his servant's eyes to be opened and suddenly the servant saw the MOUNTAINS FULL of horses and chariots of FIRE surrounding them—far more for them than against them. They were never in danger.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm under constant attack because I'm spiritually weak. IT IS WRITTEN that NO weapon formed against me shall prosper—not because of my strength but because of God's covenant faithfulness. My protection isn't based on my spiritual disciplines—it's based on GOD BEING FOR ME. IT IS WRITTEN that if God is for me, who can be against me? The enemy can form weapons but they CANNOT succeed against a daughter of the Most High. I declare the BARAK blessing over my life—the same protection that defended Jacob even when he was a deceiver defends me under the BETTER covenant of Jesus' blood. Those who are with me are MORE than those who are against me. I am surrounded by heavenly armies whether I feel it or not.
The Father hasn't left you exposed to enemy attack—you're surrounded by armies you cannot see and protected by a covenant sealed in His Son's blood. What feels like relentless attack is the enemy's desperate flailing against a shield he cannot penetrate.
