"I'm too intense, too much for people. They can handle me in small doses but not really."
How it sounds in your head: You're exhausting. Your emotions are too big, your opinions too strong, your energy too high or too low. People like you better when you tone it down. The real you is overwhelming.
"I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are Your works, and that my soul knows very well."
-- Psalm 139:14Rejection wound + false humility + enemy assignment to dim God-given personality as 'too much.'
He's been told directly or picked up signals that he's 'a lot'—too loud, too quiet, too passionate, too whatever. The message is clear: less of you is better.
Wore camel hair, ate locusts, shouted in the wilderness, called religious leaders snakes. EXTREMELY intense, zero chill. Jesus called him the GREATEST born of women—didn't tell him to tone it down.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm too much. IT IS WRITTEN that I am FEARFULLY and WONDERFULLY made—my personality is BY DESIGN, not by accident. What feels like 'too intense' to some is MARVELOUS to the Father. IT IS WRITTEN that I am God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus—which means my intensity is INTENTIONAL. The BARAK blessing means I am FAVORED as I am, not as a dimmed-down version. Friends who CELEBRATE my design, not tolerate it, are coming.
The Father is running toward you with people who won't ask you to be less—they'll LOVE your intensity. He's preparing friendships that celebrate the FULL you, not a toned-down version.
