"I'm only tolerated in groups, never actually wanted. They'd be fine without me."
How it sounds in your head: You're the extra. The odd number. The one they include out of politeness, not desire. If you disappeared from the group chat, would anyone notice? Would anyone care? You're furniture, not family.
"Having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved."
-- Ephesians 1:5-6Rejection spirit assigning you 'outsider' status that Christ already demolished at the cross.
You weren't in the original plan—you were added later. Inside jokes go over your head. They have history you're not part of. The proof is in every hesitation before they say 'sure, you can come too.'
The Gentiles were the ultimate outsiders—not original Israel, not the chosen bloodline. Paul says they were GRAFTED IN to the olive tree and made EQUAL partakers of the root. Instant inclusion. Full inheritance. Not tolerated—WANTED.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm just tolerated. IT IS WRITTEN that I am ACCEPTED in the Beloved, predestined for adoption according to God's GOOD PLEASURE. I am not an accident or an afterthought in ANY room. IT IS WRITTEN that God rejoices over me with SINGING—if He celebrates me, I don't need human validation to know my worth. I am WANTED because my Father says so. The right tribe doesn't tolerate me—they thank God I showed up.
The Father is running toward you with a nameplate for the seat He saved at the table, and He's been telling everyone 'wait till you meet him—he's exactly what we've been missing.' You're not being squeezed in—you're being celebrated in.
