"I'm too broken for anyone to ever want me romantically or sexually."
How it sounds in your head: Who's going to choose you when there are whole guys available? Girls want strong protectors, not projects. You're undateable. Sex? Forget it. You're not even on the board.
"You are all fair, my love, and there is no flaw in you."
-- Song of Solomon 4:7World + enemy: Culture worships sexual performance and physical perfection; Satan whispers you're undesirable and condemns you to loneliness.
Dating apps, movies, porn - everything shows physical perfection as the standard. You don't match the image. Girls at school look past you to the athletes. Evidence seems overwhelming.
Jacob worked 7 years for Rachel, got tricked into marrying Leah first (verse says Rachel was 'beautiful' but Leah's eyes were 'delicate' - possibly disability/flaw). God opened Leah's womb FIRST, blessed her with 6 sons while beautiful Rachel was barren for years - God honored the 'flawed' one.
I REFUSE the lie that I am undesirable. IT IS WRITTEN: I am ALL FAIR and there is NO FLAW in me in Christ. I am fearfully and wonderfully made - my body is not a mistake. God calls me the DELIGHT of His heart. IT IS WRITTEN: I am complete in Christ (Colossians 2:10) - whole, acceptable, worthy of love. The BARAK blessing makes me BLESSED, not cursed - the right person will see me as the PRIZE, not a project. I am worthy of covenant love, intimate connection, and passionate marriage. My value is not in my body but in my identity as GOD'S BELOVED.
The Father calls you His BELOVED - not despite your body but INCLUDING it. Like the prodigal covered in filth, the Father's love wasn't conditional on appearance. The right person will love ALL of you because God does.
