"I can't serve God effectively because of what my body can't do."
How it sounds in your head: Ministry requires mobility, energy, consistency—things your body can't guarantee. You see others serving freely while you're navigating limitations. You feel sidelined from the real work of the Kingdom.
"But the LORD said to Samuel, 'Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.'"
-- 1 Samuel 16:7Religion equating service with physical capacity, creating a performance-based ministry value system.
Mission trips, service projects, worship teams—they all seem designed for able bodies. Your limitation feels like a locked door to meaningful contribution.
Moses said 'I am slow of speech and slow of tongue'—a speech impediment. God's response: 'WHO made your mouth? Now GO, and I will be with your mouth and teach you what to say.' Led 2 million people out of slavery.
I REFUSE the lie that my body limits my calling. IT IS WRITTEN: God looks at the HEART, not physical stature. Moses stuttered and led a nation. Paul had a thorn and wrote half the New Testament. My limitation does not silence my voice or shrink my assignment. IT IS WRITTEN: I am blessed and anointed, the head and not the tail. God chose me KNOWING my body, and His power is made perfect in my weakness.
The Father isn't looking for perfect vessels—He's looking for WILLING hearts, and He's running toward you with assignments that fit you PERFECTLY, limitations included. Like Moses, your 'can't' is His 'watch Me.'
