"My disability makes me less qualified to receive from God than healthier people."
How it sounds in your head: You look at healed people and wonder what they had that you don't. More faith? Cleaner lives? Secret prayers you didn't pray? Maybe God heals people who are more spiritually mature, more faithful, less broken than you. Your disability feels like evidence that you're somehow less qualified, less deserving, less favored.
"For there is no partiality with God."
-- Romans 2:11Religion's lie: makes healing a reward for spiritual performance, implies disability is divine rejection or insufficient faith.
Others got healed and you didn't—what's the difference except them being more qualified somehow? The comparison makes your disability feel like a report card showing you failed some spiritual test. Their wholeness highlights your lack.
A thief, a criminal being executed for actual crimes, no time to prove himself or build a resume. He simply said 'Remember me' and Jesus responded 'TODAY you will be with Me in Paradise'—instant salvation with zero qualifications except asking.
I REFUSE the lie that my disability makes me less qualified to receive from God. IT IS WRITTEN that there is no partiality with God—He doesn't have favorites based on health or performance. The thief on the cross was a criminal with NOTHING to offer and received paradise the SAME DAY because he asked. The centurion's servant was paralyzed and healed INSTANTLY based on faith, not qualification. IT IS WRITTEN that I am the righteousness of God IN CHRIST—my qualification is HIS righteousness, not my health status. The BARAK blessing is mine not by works but by GRACE through the blood of Jesus. Healing is not a reward I earn but a gift I receive. I am Abraham's seed, joint-heir with Christ, and NOTHING about my body changes my position as His beloved daughter. My disability doesn't disqualify me—His blood QUALIFIED me completely.
The Father sees your disability and sees His beloved daughter—not someone less qualified, not someone who failed a test, but someone He's running toward with arms wide open. He's bringing the robe of righteousness that has NOTHING to do with your body and EVERYTHING to do with Christ's finished work, ready to heal you not because you've become worthy but because you already ARE worthy in His Son.
