"I'm powerless over this. I'll never have real control. I'm always one slip away from total collapse."
How it sounds in your head: Step one: admit you're powerless. You've said it a thousand times. And it feels true—one moment of weakness and decades disappear. The fear of relapse haunts every decision.
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
-- Philippians 4:13Religious doctrine stripping believers of their Christ-given authority, teaching weakness instead of the power of the indwelling Spirit.
You've seen it happen—guys with 20 years sober who fall hard. The statistics are grim. The meetings reinforce that you're fragile, that control is an illusion.
Samson broke every Nazarite vow, slept with prostitutes, fell into the enemy's hands, lost his eyes and strength. In one moment of crying out to God, his strength returned INSTANTLY—he killed more enemies in his death than in his entire life.
I REFUSE the lie that I am powerless. IT IS WRITTEN: I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me. The Spirit of the Living God dwells in me—the same power that raised Jesus from the dead. I am not fragile, not one slip from collapse. I am SEATED with Christ in heavenly places, far above all principality and power. IT IS WRITTEN: no weapon formed against me shall prosper. The blessing of Abraham is on me—protected even when I stumble, covered by covenant, held by the Father's unshakable grip.
The Father doesn't see you teetering on a tightrope one mistake from death. He sees you hidden in Christ, seated in heavenly places, held by His grip that nothing can break—not your worst day, not your weakest moment.
